The Great Barrier Reef

The world's largest coral reef is almost as large as the whole of Norway

 

The Great Barrier Reef alone is worth a trip to Australia.

 

 

OPAL REEF, Queensland, Australia (Dagbladet): Captain Cook discovered the Great Barrier Reef on June 11, 1770, when the sailing ship Endeavor went missing.

Once he was on those edges, it was impossible not to get in close contact with the reef.

Because it's big, huge. It covers an area almost the size of all of Norway.
 
The Great Barrier Reef, the Great Barrier Reef, bears its name rightly.

Where do you go to see a flap of a reef, which extends along half the east coast of Australia, from Bundaberg south in Queensland past Cape York and almost across the Torres Strait?

Pal Beach Hotel

The wines at Crete made me think twice, concerning Greek Wines.

At the Pal Beach Hotel in Paleochora I had a lunch and a wine experience that surprised me.

The best winery on the Island makes wines that are really good and goes well with the local cuisine.
